High Triglycerides

Triglycerides are a group of fatty compounds that circulate in the bloodstream and are stored in the fat tissue. Individuals who have elevated blood levels of triglycerides appear to be at increased risk of developing heart attack and related vascular conditions. Unsafe levels of triglycerides is defined by a fasting triglyceride level that is above 1.13 mmol/L (100 mg/dL). Individuals who are overweight and/or have diabetes or a prediabetic state, often have elevated triglyceride levels.

Supplement Considerations

Natural Cholesterol-Triglyceride Lowering Supplements
A natural cholesterol-triglyceride lowering supplement should contain proven triglyceride-lowering ingredients that do not damage the liver, kidney or cause muscle soreness or weakness.

Fat Metabolizing Supplements
A fat metabolizing supplement should contain three metabolic condition agents that enhance fat-burning, decrease the tendency for the body to convert carbohydrates into fat (triglyceride) and improve blood sugar regulation. This product does not contain any stimulants or ephedra.

Essential Fatty Acids
An essential fatty acid should contain omega-fats that have been shown to lower blood fats and reduce the stickiness of the blood – a major consideration in the prevention of heart attack, stroke and peripheral vascular disease.
