Peptic Ulcers

Peptic ulcers are erosions or open lesions in the lining of the stomach or the first part of the small intestine. They are usually caused from an infection by the bacteria called Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori). In addition to standard medical treatment to kill the bacteria, reducing stress, alcohol and smoking, there are certain nutrition and supplementation strategies that are important in regards to the prevention and management of ulcers.

Digestive Enzymes and Prebiotics

Digestive enzymes and probiotics  should improve intestinal digestion and function, and helps promote the growth of gut friendly bacteria.

Oil of Oregano Supplement (P73 source)

An oil of oregano supplement should help to kill the H.pylori bacteria that contributes to many cases of ulcers.

A high potency multiple vitamin & mineral should contain dosages of nutrients required to repair the cells of the intestinal tract.
